Shifting Soliond B

Default Shifting Soliond B

Hey I have a 1996 Altima GXE
And The Check Engin Light Came on so i have scaned it and it sayed Soliond B,
Where Is that Located And Will it Burn My Tranny If I Drive It?

It Feels Like Its stuck in High Gear Cause It Dosent Feel like it starts in first.

Any Help On This Please

i dont know where the solenoids are for that tranny. i dont think that this is something that you could easily do in your driveway though. If you car is not dropping into the lower gears, it will cause increased wear on the parts that ARE being used, since youre using the same gear all the time. I would consider taking it to a tranny shop, or a dealership, if not a mechanic that you know/trust.

a good repair manual should show the location and give instructions on replacing the solanoid.
