So, just happened to receive a 1984 Datsun/Nissan Stanza as payment for some work that I did. This car has been sitting for at least 8 years, prior to that sitting since, I believe, May of 1989. The evidence that I have is the fuel log, filled out by the original owner, showing the last fill-up on May 11th, 1989. Less than 100 miles ago on the speedometer! (I have pics to prove it..lol) This thing is a gem. Basically garaged since 1989. I've got her up and running after changing all the fluids and checking her out and she's awesome. Not a ding on her. Even the windshield is virgin to flying rocks. Joining here because I'm a backyard mechanic who's never dealt with a Nissan engine, let alone one with 8 spark plugs and 2 ignition coils.
