97 Pickup-Swirl Control Valve Control Solenoid Valve
I went to the dealership part department and talked to them. They said it was a sensor on the intake and it costs $182 but he recommended that I replace all of the vacuum hoses and visually check the wiring before purchasing the sensor. I'll give it a try and report back but I won't be working on it until Wednesday 09/14. The truck runs great it's just the engine light is on and my county won't inspect it with the light on.
I bought a subscription on the web from eautorepair.net and all the information I needed to trouble shoot. It ended up being a short in a wire going to the sensor.
