on my 98, you can reset the ECM. From the passenger side of the dash, down on the hump. The ECM is right there, there is a small hole that has a plastic seal over it, if you poke it out with a very small phillips head screw driver inside there is a small plastic screw. I'm pretty sure if you turn it all the way to the right, wait about 5 seconds, and all the way to the left again, that should clear the code. Not sure if the key has to be in the on position or not, try it either way.

What code are you getting and what did you do to fix it ? ... if the computer is setting a code and you just clear it with a scan tool or resesting the ecu it will come back... you need to correct the ploblem.
