my blower wont work unless i put it on the highest setting.can an expert tell me whats wrong and how to DIY

Try to turn blower/AC ON/OFF couple times first.
Check the fuses second...

Try to turn blower/AC ON/OFF couple times first.
Check the fuses second...
that wont do anything, your blower motor resister is bad, when they go bad your blower only works on high. so replace your blower resistor and that should fix it.
