Default 98 maxima radio & wiper issues

My factory installed Bose cd/radio/tape player needs repair. The LED display is on the brinks. My dealership said Bose doesn't repair these any more. Any suggestions?

Also, my wiper arms' paint has started to come off.
I'd either like to replace them (how much) or remove them & sand & paint them (how do I remove them)?
Any suggestions/recommendations?

Thanks, Billie

As for repairing you factory radio, if i were in your same shoes i would open the yellow pages and look to see if you have a radio repair shop close to you. i know i have 2 in my area. secondly about the paint on your wiper arms. the are very easy to remove and paint, infact i would be willing to be the dealer you bought the car from painted them you you did not know it. at the base of the arm there is a plastic cover, and under the plastic is a nut. remove the nut, and wiggle the arm around and you should be able to get them right off. when reinstalling make sure to test the wipers before you have them compleatly tight incase you need to adjust there paths.
I hope this helps
