Default Fault code 158

I filled up with gas and after about 60 miles my check engine light came on. I retrived the fault code of ---158---. Does anyone have a record of that fault?

I checked the gas cap and made sure that it was tight, and reset the light. I'll see if it happens again.

Thanks for looking.

At about 55k miles on my 02 SE, the same fault code appeared (PO158, to be exact). It turned out to be the rear 02 sensor on the driver's side (has red insulation covering the wire, and is underneath the car on the exhaust system after the catalytic convertor). It cost me 100 bucks, and, if you're familiar with minor repairs, is a do-it-yourself job. I reset the code a few times before fixing it to make sure it wasn't a bug in the system. After replacing the sensor, nothing came up. Hope this helps!

I had the same problem on my 01 Se at 65K, changed the same sensor, #2 sensor on the right side, reset the light and no problem since. Easy fix, just soak the sensor with some PB blaster overnight for easy removal.
