I don't say the whole ridges deal, maybe justthe receptacles... I don't know just my thought.
I wonder who is the crackhead running the show at Nissan USA, he must be on something real good.

Talked to my nissan rep... he explained to me....The Aus/ UK model rear cargo blinds will not work... the part number they have is not even a working number for the US Nissan system..... the explanation I got for the cutouts in the rear were that they were put there with the possibility of them making a rear cargo cover in the future... which was total speculation there is no way to tell for sure.....the space back there is pretty small so I think it is unlikely that they will ever produce one since the body style has already been out for 2 years.

I think the current gen 4Runners look horrible. Everyone's pushing their SUV's out to the mall shoppers & the designs reallysupport that.

Hey Steve!
Do you have the contact info for the UK dealership you were talking to. Screw all this, I'll get the cover and then get hardwareto install it. Seems the way to get something done is to do it yourself.
Thanks,

I found this picture on EBAY of someone who is selling their Pathfinder
out of theUK. You can see the littleoval cut outs the dealer was
talking about. I havent seen them on a US model, thats for sure.

That might work, keeps the most valuable things out of sight. I wonder if you have to put down the 3rd row only, or 2nd and 3rd row, to put that in place.

The Canon Digital Rebel won't fit, at least, not in it's case. For what was spent on it, it won't come out of it's case, unless it is going to be used. So for now, whenever we go on trips, and stop to eat, we will have to carry all our valuables into the restaurant, and explain that we can't leave them outside, because we own a Nissan Pathfinder. The newly designed SUV, with the least amount of stowage capacity, than any other SUV on the market today.

TB, The cover that fits in the cutouts is show in my photos on the previous page. It only requires the 3rd row to be lowered. The second row stays up. Also, did you find the cubby hole under the second row of seats? I'm guessing that's the place that wasn't big enough for the camera [:@]
