I have a 96 Sentra That does not seem to be getting fuel. The only code that came up was the EGR Valve which was replaced and it seems to be worst off. No other codes show up and the fuel pump is working as it should along with everything else. I also ran Injection cleaner and did not help. It turns over fine but is almost impossible to start. It is like the fuel pressure is gone. My mechanic checked all he knew as is at a lost for words as to what it could be. When it does finally start is runs fine but when its off and sit for a while its like it has no fuel preasure. Any ideas? Please help..

 

We've all been having problems with our Fuel Pump and Fuel pressure regulator. I drive an '06 and have similar problems. Waiting on the recall bulletin to get mine fixed though. What I've elarned to do, and this might help for you; is to when you first get in the car turn the key to theassesory (just before run), let the pressure build for say 30 sec's or so and then start the car. It's been working for me, and al beit, not a solution, it is a fix for now.
