'02 Sentra, 101,000 miles on it. Bought it a couple months ago and it has an intermittent starting problem, where it starts and dies several times before I can drive.. It seems like a fuel pressure problem, because after I get it going, it'll start right back up. This only seems to happen if it sits a long time or over night. it happened yesterday, and the engine indicated it was running, ( on the tach) but I got no response from the gas pedal. I put it in "drive" and then I was able to move normally.
Before I buy and install a fuel pump, I want to make sure that is the problem. I've read where there was a "kit" that could be added to the pump for this problem, is that a cure? Thanks for any info ...........
