Default I know I got a lemon, but help please

Hey Guys, this is steve here. I brought a 95 nissan 240sx for $1000. In the listing he said there is engine work to be done. Well, I think there is more to it. I when I start the car up, it shakes really bad. He said the manifold my be bad, and that he sprayed something and thats his conclusion. i dont know what the hell he is talking about. He also said that the anit-freeze gets out, so maybe there is a hose leak. SO, pretty much I have no clue where to begin, and my wife isnt the happiest about my purchase. If someone could really give me a good idea where to really begin to look. The car shakes really bad and idles terribly rough, I open for ideas....please.

Pull your plugs and look at them carefully. Your spark plugs are the key to knowing what is going on in your cylinders. What color are they? do they have any marks on them? Look them over carefully. Keep track of which went where and let me know or look it up online. Every color and mark means something from a rich mixture to headgasket leaks.

In the end, its still hestitating in take off, and they told me I need to get the fuel injector seals replaced for another $220. So.....I guess thats whats next.....

$1000 for a 95? you have to know it would need a lot of work, but even with the extra $1600, it's still a good deal.

WOW! were your manifolds cracked? I think you may have been taken to the cleaners on that one.
